Flower Tutorial - Peony by RiyokuSakimori Flower Tutorial - Peony by RiyokuSakimori
Before anyone comments on how the flower doesn't seem to rest on the rim of the bottle... yeah, I forgot about physics. Ufufufufufu~ Oops. .____. You might want to download this for the full, high-res experience... if only because you'll actually see how the brush strokes were put together. I think this literally took no more than about an hour and a half. Feel free to use as many or as few layers as you want. Heck, when I started shading/lighting, I used one layer for every petal and just merged it into the previous layer every time I was done with it. XD;;;;

This was requested quite a long time back by :iconalnico-ism: who said he'd like to see a tutorial on how to draw a flower. This just happened to be a double tutorial on how to start painting something in color rather than just a black-and-white base. Hope this helps people!

Well, the physics can be richt if the flower is tilted back against the wall, the shadows aren't to far form the flower to make that plausable ;)

A werry beautiful flower!

The style of this tutorial is pretty interesting, it works well without any words at all. Putting your colour choices on top there is a nice touch!
